Patriots Blog: Ground Attack Will Be Ready
BOSTON (CBS) - In years past, the Tom Brady-Peyton Manning Bowls have been epic battles by the two future Hall of Famers.
This week should be no different, but the New England Patriots running game will also be ready to chip in.
Last week against the Bills, the Patriots ground attack took over the game. Stevan Ridley and Brandon Bolden each ran for over a hundred yards and it paced the New England offensive.
Now no one knows what the Patriots game plan is going to be for Sunday's game against the Broncos, but all the running backs understand they have to be ready.

"We all realize that we are a young group, and I guess we kind of embrace that as a group," said Bolden, who racked up 137 of his 152 rushing yards on the season last Sunday against the Bills. "We all know that we have to pick each other up . We try to make each other better. That's pretty much our game plan."
This week it could be Ridley and Bolden again, but don't rule out Shane Vereen or Danny Woodhead to get their share of carries either. It's all hands on deck for the Pats ground game, and whoever is running the rock the best can expect to be fed the ball.

"It's the NFL. You never know what can happen. A guy might go down, you never know," said Bolden. "That's why everybody has to be on point. And I think that's what our group is real good at."
