Jones: Besides Christian Hackenberg, Patriots' AFC East Rivals All Got Better At NFL Draft
BOSTON (CBS) -- As it happened last Friday night in the 2016 NFL Draft, Adam Jones and Rich Keefe roasted the New York Jets for selecting quarterback Christian Hackenberg in the second round. They continued hammering the team for taking the quarterback whose weakness was described as "bad tape" - that is, he looks bad on game film.
Besides that player, who they joked will probably turn out to be a Hall-of-Fame quarterback, Jones & Keefe praised the Patriots' three AFC East rivals for making solid picks that immediately improved their teams. They liked the Jets' pick of linebacker Darron Lee in the first-round while the Dolphins had tackle Laremy Tunsil fall in their laps after a bizarre social media-fueled chain of events. Jones & Keefe also liked the Bills' decision to go all-defense with their first three picks.
