Pats Release Fuller, Promote Silvestro and Moore
FOXBORO (CBS) - The New England Patriots made a couple of roster moves Friday night prior to their Saturday matchup with the Miami Dolphins.
They released newly signed safety Vince Fuller and promoted Alex Silvestro (cornerback) and Sterling Moore (safety) from the practice squad.
Fuller was signed by the Pats on Wednesday, but was limited in practice all week.

Many thought with the injury to Andre Carter, Markell Carter would get the nod from the practice squad but that was not the case. The Pats continue to need help in their secondary and right now it seems they are trying to find the right mix.
As for Sterling Moore, he returns to the Pats active roster after spending two weeks on the practice squad.
The biggest boost to the secondary will come if Patrick Chung is active. We'll find that out around 11:30 this morning.
