Patrick keeps slim lead over Baker in new poll
With a little more than two weeks to go until Election Day, Gov. Deval Patrick continues to hold a slim lead over Republican challenger Charlie Baker in the Massachusetts governor's race.
According to the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey, Patrick leads Baker 47-percent to 42-percent.
Independent Tim Cahill is a very distant third at six-percent. Only two-percent are still undecided.
The survey of 750 likely voters was taken Saturday night, just after President Barack Obama came to Boston to campaign for Patrick.
The poll has a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.
Last week, a Suffolk University poll showed Patrick with a seven point lead over Baker.
