Part of Craigie Drawbridge To Close For 12 Weeks
BOSTON (CBS) – The inbound lanes of the Craigie Drawbridge in front of the Museum of Science are set to close again.
The lanes on the bridge, which carries McGrath O'Brien Highway (Route 28) between Land Boulevard in Cambridge and Leverett Circle in Boston, are set to close on Saturday for 12 weeks, meaning they won't reopen until the end of April.
Part of the bridge closed at the beginning of November for several weeks in the first phase of the project. At that time, the highway department set up a series of detours that seemed to handle the traffic well.
Bicyclists and pedestrians will have normal access during construction.
