Parishioners Vow To Keep Vigil At Wellesley Church With No Utilities
WELLESLEY (CBS) – There is no heat or hot water for parishioners holding vigil at a church that was closed by the Archdiocese of Boston seven years ago.
The boiler at St. James the Great in Wellesley has been shut down after being deemed unsafe by the church's insurance company. The Archdiocese says it decided not to fix the heating system and shut it down to prevent any damage to the property.
