Paille, Ference Out For Bruins Against Sabres
BOSTON (CBS) -- The road back to game action extends a little longer for injured Bruins Daniel Paille and Andrew Ference, as neither will return to the ice Thursday night against the Sabres.
Both players skated Thursday morning at the TD Garden but coach Claude Julien said neither will play in Thursday's tilt, according to the Bruins' official Twitter page.
Paille suffered an undisclosed injury Saturday against the Islanders, while Ference suffered a lower-body injury last Thursday against New Jersey.
On the positive injury news, Julien said that Benoit Pouliot will likely be able to play Thursday after he left Tuesday's game against the Maple Leafs with an undisclosed injury.
The Bruins could either skate Lane McDermid or Max Sauve in Paille's spot up front, while defensively, the team has enough healthy blueliners to still have a healthy scratch.
