Over/Under: Will Cyrus Jones See Another Return Opportunity This Season?
BOSTON (CBS) -- It was a "Game Of Jones" Tuesday as 98.5 The Sports Hub's Adam Jones and Ryan Johnston did another round of Over/Under. They mostly addressed topics regarding the Patriots and the NFL, but sprinkled in some Bruins and Celtics questions as well.
The over/under numbers and Jones' answers are below.
Cyrus Jones kick return opportunities: 0.5
"I will say under. I cannot believe that Bill [Belichick] continues to roll him out there," said Jones. "[Cyrus Jones] hasn't been able to catch a punt since training camp. ... We better not see him on the field again, on special teams or defense."
Points scored by Patriots in Denver: 18
"They needed Gronk to be otherworldly just to hang 18 on Denver last year [in the AFC Championship Game] - I'm saying they go over that number, though," said Jones. "The performance [against the Ravens] on offense opened my eyes. ... I think they can get into the 20s against Denver, maybe the mid-20s."
Future NFL games for Jeff Fisher as head coach: 0.5
"I'm going under on that. He better not get hired again," said Jones. "He is such a laughingstock now ... no one's dumb enough to hire him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's done coaching."
Total games started by Tuukka Rask in regular season: 64.5
"I'm going over, and that means he needs to play a lot down the stretch - but they're going to need him to play a lot down the stretch," said Jones. "He should be playing in the mid-60s, maybe upper-60s."
Three-point attempts for Celtics against Spurs: 35
"Oh I'm going over that," said Jones. "No one on the team can shoot! They are launching with reckless abandon. It's embarrassing to watch them right now without Isaiah Thomas. I'm sure they'll be over the 35."
