Over/Under: 7 Playoff Wins For Celtics Next Season

BOSTON (CBS) -- It was an Over/Under Tuesday on The Adam Jones Show's Game of Jones, with Jones and Matt McCarthy (filling in for Rich Keefe) hitting on a number of topics ranging from Red Sox prospect Andrew Benintendi to postseason expectation for the Boston Celtics.

Play along as Adam Jones gives his takes on the following topics:

Number of starts Andrew Benintendi will make this season: Over/Under 29

"I will take the over. If I'm not mistaken, that is the halfway mark of the amount of games the Red Sox have remaining. Even if he's just in a platoon -- which I think is dumb if you're calling him up to platoon with Bryce Brentz -- I think Benintendi should be here to play pretty much every day. Even if he's on the correct end of the platoon, hitting against right handed pitching, you're playing four out of every five games and should play more than those 29 games, assuming he doesn't come up, suck, and has to be sent back down.

"Even when he had a minor adjustment period at Double A, he figured it out to the point where he was close to hitting .300 with the Sea Dogs. I think he's up here to stay, and if he's up here to stay he's playing. I'll take the over."

Number of series Tom Brady plays during preseason: Over/Under 10

"I think Brady plays less than that. I think, and I've said this quite a bit, he'll get most of the reps in joint practices. I think Bill [Belichick] values those more than a preseason game because you can control the atmosphere, down and distance and situations. I think Brady will get heavy reps in joint practices, and in preseason games, that's where Jimmy Garoppolo gets a lot of reps."

Points per game for Warriors Klay Thompson next season: Over/Under 19 ppg

"I'm over on that. I don't think everyone has to sacrifice on Golden State. That would be silly. You have Kevin Durant -- feed Kevin Durant. I think the guy who has to sacrifice a lot is Steph Curry. Draymond Green already gives up a lot of shots and contributes in a lot of other ways. Curry is the guy, in terms of sheer volume of shots taken and things like that, is the one who has to sacrifice."

Postseason wins for Celtics next season: Over/Under 7 wins

"Considering they have two [wins] in the last three years, I'll take the under... According to [media members], if the Celtics don't get to the Eastern Conference Finals, this year will be a spectacular failure. But I don't expect them to get there, so by their standard they're going fail. I don't think they win eight games and get to the conference finals. I like Toronto better and Indiana better. That's not to say I don't think the Celtics can win around and be a better team, but I don't think they'll make it to the east finals."

Overnight rating for Sunday's Packers-Colts Hall of Fame Game: Over/Under 6.9

"I think the number is over. That's a couple of marquee quarterbacks, not that they're going to play a ton, but I'll at least tune in to see the beginning of [Aaron] Rodgers and [Andrew] Luck and see how it looks. It's my first chance to really sit there and watch football. I'll make it to the end of the first quarter, maybe even halftime, so I'll get sucked in to their dumb ratings game."
