Portsmouth Police Chief David Ferland says Maloney would be humbled by the turnout. "I think right now he is smiling down upon us," says Chief Ferland. "He was a very warm police officer and we are much less not having him around anymore."
The run raised $45,000 for Chief Maloney's family.
