Our Night Sky...Take Note
Our night sky will be 'lighting-up' the next couple of nights. The Perseid Meteor Shower is in full swing. The peak night will be Friday night->early Saturday morning. The best time to observe the Perseids is between midnight and pre-dawn. This year will be tough due to the near Full 'Sturgeon' Moon. That's the next topic: This month's Full 'Sturgeon' Moon will be exactly at 2:57PM on Saturday. Bright moonshine will be visible with clear skies tonight and Friday night.
