One Week 'Til Spring
Yes, the rain is out of here! It's back to a cloud and sun combo. Northwest winds will be blowing at a 5-15mph pace. Highs will still be on the mild side today...near 50F.
Clouds will fill back in this evening as a 500H shortwave sweeps eastward. There may be a few snowflakes late tonight and early tomorrow.
With cold air aloft/upper level trough above, there will be a slight chance of a snowflake/raindrop throughout Thursday afternoon. Overall, it'll be a dry day with clouds dominating the sky. Highs will be cooler in the lower 40s along with breezy northwest winds.
Friday will be partly cloudy with breezy conditions. Highs will be slightly below normal again as we top off near 40F.
This last weekend of Winter '12-'13 will be a 50/50. Saturday will be the end result of a clipper system diving southeast. There will be rain and snow showers. There is the possibility that a few inches of snow accumulate northwest of 495 in the higher elevations of Central Mass. and southern NH. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. *Saint Patrick's Day is looking good with partly cloudy skies and highs near 40F.
Halfway to the...weekend!
