One Shot Of Precipitation

It's another beauty in the neighborhood!  It will be a sunny and chilly start before the sun 'warms' us up into the middle 40s this afternoon.  A very weak cold front will be the culprit of increasing clouds this evening and overnight tonight.  Although most of us will not even notice the passage of this front, there us a slim chance of a flurry or sprinkle along the Cape/Islands through the night.  Then, Wednesday will be a bright and sunshiny day as highs hover around 40F.

Thursday is the  best chance of showers for the entire viewing area as a warm front travels northward and a cold front approaches the area. It will take time for the moisture to overcome the dry air, but there is the slight chance of some light sleet/freezing rain/snow to occur for the interior locales during the morning hours (Worcester Hills, southern NH, Monadnock Region).  Showers will continue to spread across Southern New England through the day.  The showers will shut-off  Thursday night.  The cold front will pass to our east Thursday night.  Consequently, Friday will bring back the sunshine, but it will also include cold air advection, or falling temperatures, during the day.

This weekend will be bright and sunny, but it will also have a winterlike feel.

Melissa :)
