One More Day...

We remain in a very warm and soupy air mass for one more day.  A cold front is slowly working in from the west but it won't pass through until tomorrow morning.  So temps will again climb well into the 80s and may even touch 90 in a few communities.  Of course the air is also incredibly humid today and with an approaching cold front the chances are rising for showers and thunderstorms.  While most of the day thunderstorm action will be isolated, tonight as the front moves through the storms get more numerous and may still be strong.  One big concern is the timing of these storms with the Pats game this evening...it's going to be a close call but signs are pointing to a later arrival of widespread storms which would be a good thing for the game.

The front will have passed by tomorrow morning and cooler and drier air will be working in throughout the day.  The atmosphere will still have a bit of instability in it and a few pop-up showers will be possible.

The weekend is looking sweet with an Autumn feel on Saturday in the 60s and sunny in the 70s on Sunday.
