One More Day...

It's the last day that we are going to be affected by a stubborn upper level trough before we see the 'light'. A trough will be show movement tonight as the jetstream carries it to the east.  An upper level ridge will begin building on Friday.

Today will be partly sunny with a few showers, especially during the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the 50-55F range with a north-northeast wind.

Friday is going to be a beauty with sunshine and highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. That's great news for the Red Sox Home Opener!

This weekend is proving to be tricky in terms of forecasting.  Saturday will be mostly sunny with increasing clouds in the evening hours. Highs will be warmer with highs between 65-70F.

There will be a slight chance of a shower on Saturday night into Sunday morning. Otherwise, Sunday will most likely be partly sunny and even warmer in the middle 70s.

The GFSx has a cold front move through the region on Sunday night with just a slight chance of showers.  Then, it has a dry period all-day  on Patriots' Day/Marathon Monday before the same front rebounds as a warm front on Tuesday.   On the flip side, the EURO model doesn't have the front come through completely.  It has the front stalling near the region before rebounding as a warm front on Tuesday. Either way, both models lead me to believe that Patriots' Day/Marathon Monday will be in the middle 60s to near 70F with partly sunny skies.  We'll continue to fine tune and tweak as new model runs become available.

One Alarm Clock Away...
