One man killed in Cape crash
One person is dead following a single car accident on Route 28 in South Yarmouth.
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver of a BMW was apparently traveling at a high rate of speed when they struck a utility pole and rolled over into the grounds of a condo complex where the vehicle burst into flames.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, reported by police at the scene to be in his 50s, was trapped under the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Power was out in a large section of Route 28 as a result of the crash.
