One Man Dead After Early Morning Rollover Crash In New Bedford
NEW BEDFORD (CBS) - A man was killed in a single-car crash on Route 140, early Sunday.
State Police were called to the crash at 12:28 a.m. and found a Nissan 35oZ on the southbound side of the highway, south of Exit 5.
Police say the car was going northbound when it went off the road, rolled over and went through the median strip.
The passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, also a man, was taken by helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.
Police have not released the names of the victim and injured man.
State Police are investigating the crash.
