One Killed In Easton Car Accident
EASTON (CBS) -A 76-year-old Foxboro man was killed in a car accident Saturday.
Police say prior to the accident, they received a call reporting an erratic driver. Moments later, they received numerous 911 calls reporting the accident.
An investigation found the vehicle traveled off the right shoulder and side-swiped a guardrail, police said. The vehicle then came back onto the road, crossed both lanes and struck a telephone pole, knocking it down.
Police say they found the vehicle into a tree.
Frederick L Haarer Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the man is believed to have a medical history, which may have been a contributing factor to the accident.
