One Fund Boston Posts Claim Forms, Distribution Info On Website
BOSTON (CBS) - One Fund Boston has released its final plan to distribute more than $30 million that has been raised in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The protocol and claim forms are available at www.onefundboston.org.
Claim forms are also being mailed to potential claimants who registered through The One Fund Boston website.
June 15 will be the deadline for people to register to claim benefits.
Separate claim forms need to be submitted for every eligible victim.
The claims will be reviewed and payments will be sent out by June 30.
"The outpouring of support for The One Fund has been unprecedented in my experience," Administrator Kenneth Feinberg said. "We remain committed to channeling that generosity to assist those most impacted by the bombings and to do so by the end of June."
