Occupy Harvard Protestor Plan To Remove, Tents, Continue Demonstration
BOSTON (CBS) - The protestors at "Occupy Harvard" are planning to take down most of their tents after this weekend.
They're calling the move set for Monday a "transition," and are hoping the it will prompt the university to reopen the gates of Harvard Yard to the public.
The protestors plan to take down 20 tents that form the bulk of the camp, but maintain a continual presence through the winter break at the dome erected at its center.
A Harvard spokesman says the school wants to reopen the gates and eliminate I-D checkpoints, but won't say when that would happen.
