Obama's Vineyard Vacation Day 3: Beach Trip, Golf
MARTHA'S VINEYARD (CBS/AP) -- President Barack Obama and his family went to the beach Sunday on Martha's Vineyard.
Obama, his wife, Michelle, and daughters Malia and Sasha spent part of Sunday at a private beach in Edgartown.
It's the first vacation outing by the Obamas since the family arrived on the island resort to begin a 10-day vacation.
According to Deputy White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, the president was briefed on the latest protests in Libya by John Brennan.

At about 12:45 pm, the president left the beach to play a round of golf at the Vineyard Golf Club in Edgartown. The First Lady, and his daughters remained at the beach.
The White House says Obama played golf with Chicago Dr. Eric Whitaker, White House Trip Director Marvin Nicholson and Robert Wolf of UBS.
After returning home from golf, the motorcade left the farm at 5:15pm, and headed toward the home of Brian and Aileen Roberts for an "informal reception". Brian Roberts is Chairman and CEO of Comcast Corp.
Obama took his daughters book shopping at Bunch of Grapes bookstore on Friday.
On Saturday, he dropped in at the home of his friend, Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree.
