Nuance Software Unveils Speech Recognition Product For Drivers
BOSTON (CBS) - It's called Dragon Drive. Nuance Executive Vice President Michael Thompson refers to it as an automotive-grade hybrid connected speech platform that top-tier car-makers design right into the vehicles' electronics.
He says Dragon Drive allows drivers to text-message, without taking their hands off the wheel, or their eyes off the road. Dragon Drive is being offered to car makers who will design the features right into the vehicle.

Thompson says this is the first in a series of voice-enabled services coming from Nuance that will bring the technology to the next level. He says these conversational, easy-to-use systems are being integrated all over the world. Thompson says it's a sign of the changing ways people use devices to communicate.
