Northbridge Residents Build Dream Home For Family Of Boys With Cerebral Palsy
NORTHBRIDGE (CBS) - A Blackstone Valley community is stepping up to help a family build their dream home.
Local residents and businesses chipped in to build a safer home for the family's twin boys, who both suffer from cerebral palsy.

Chris and Amy Murray's 10-year-old sons Michael and Eric have a severe form of cerebral palsy.
The boys' new bedroom has a lift system installed in the ceiling, which will help them pick up the boys into their wheelchairs.
"The house was built around Michael and Eric's needs," Amy Murray said.
But more importantly, the home has a sprinkler system.
"The sprinkler system alone eases my mind," Amy Murray said. She added that the sprinkler would save their lives in the event of a fire. The family is moving into their new home next week.
Northbridge Fire Chief Gary Nestor says this home is the first of its kind in town.
He hopes more homes would be built with a sprinkler system.
"When you have a sprinkler system, it's like having a firefighter on duty 24 hours a day," Chief Nestor said.
The state fire marshal is actually pushing for legislation that would require new construction homes to be built with sprinklers.
