No Gronk At Patriots Practice On Tuesday
BOSTON (CBS) -- Just one player was missing from New England's practice on Tuesday, but it was a big one.
As his teammates hit the practice field in full pads on Tuesday, tight end Rob Gronkowski was nowhere to be found. He was not spotted at the media portion of practice (the first 5-10 minutes of stretching) or in the locker room prior to the session.
It's unclear if the absence is injury related or just a day off for the New England tight end. Gronkowski missed New England's Week 13 loss to the Eagles on December 6 with a knee injury, but returned for the final four games of the regular season.
The Patriots do not have to provide an injury report for this weekend's AFC Divisional Round matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs until Wednesday, so we'll have to keep playing the guessing game for another 24 hours.
Nate Ebner, who missed Monday's session, was back on the field for the Patriots on Tuesday.
