LOWELL (CBS/AP) - A homeless young man accused of killing a Lowell shelter worker was ordered held without bail Monday.

Police say he stabbed 34-year-old Jose Roldan in the neck Saturday morning at the Lowell Transitional Living Center.
Authorities say Clergeau was "in an agitated state" and attacked Roldan, who was trying to calm him down.
WBZ-TV's Peg Rusconi reports.
Roldan was a former resident of the shelter who felt obligated to give back to the organization that had helped him.
Clergeau's lawyer says his "disoriented" client was abandoned by his parents at a young age and has been in and out of jail.
