NightSide - Jack Cheevers Author of "Act Of War" Is Joined By Ralph McClintock
BOSTON (CBS) - The USS Pueblo is the only ship in the United States Navy that is still being held captive. It has been held by North Korea since it was boarded and captured in 1968. Crewmembers aboard the ship were held as prisoners for eleven months, starved and tortured by North Korean forces. Author Jack Cheevers joins NightSide to tell the story of this important Cold War clash. He will be joined by former USS Pueblo crewmember and Massachusetts native Ralph McClintock, one of the prisoners that endured the eleven month standoff.
