BOSTON (CBS) - With diabetes presenting a growing problem for our country, Dr. Mark Hyman wants to change the way we look at the disease. According to Dr. Hyman, diabetes should be treated more like a spectrum. Certain symptoms and lifestyle choices tend to lead to diabetes, and Dr. Hyman is calling for more attention to these patterns. If we can catch these problems earlier, and treat them accordingly, we can save time and money and improve the lives of many.
