NH Town Dedicates Annual Fair To Celina Cass
STEWARTSTOWN, N.H. (AP) -- Despite the sadness over the death of an 11-year-old northern New Hampshire girl, the small town that knew her is going ahead with plans to hold an annual summer fair.
The 35th annual Stewartstown Day is starting Friday.
It's being held in a small town park that had been the scene of candlelight vigils during the week-long search for Celina Cass.
This year's fair is being dedicated to Celina at an opening ceremony at 7 p.m.
The fifth-grader was missing for a week before her body was found Monday in the Connecticut River.
An autopsy didn't immediately provide the cause or manner of her death.
Investigators have labeled her death suspicious and said the case was being treated as a criminal investigation.
