NH Police Investigate Shooting At Rochester Home
ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old New Hampshire woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after driving from a house where a friend allegedly fired gunshots into the air.
Police say Kaleigh Tara Newman, of Milton, was charged early Saturday morning following reports of a man shooting a gun into the air in Rochester.
Police say two drunk female teenagers showed up at a small graduation party at the home at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday and were asked to leave by the homeowner.
Officials say the girls and several males returned in two vehicles, and that one of the males shot off a few rounds while yelling for the occupants to come out of the house.
Police say the cars drove off and that Newman was arrested a short time later.
