NH-Based GT Solar Opens Manufacturing Facility In Salem, Mass.
SALEM (CBS) - A New Hampshire-based company has officially opened an unusual manufacturing facility in Salem, Massachusetts.
GT Solar has expanded its Salem sapphire manufacturing facility to 50,000 square feet. The company plans to double its employee base there to more than 70.
Most of GT Crystal Systems' production is sent to Asia, where LED light bulbs are made.
