NH Authorities Report Fatal Fire In Raymond
RAYMOND, N.H. (AP) — Authorities in New Hampshire are investigating a fatal fire in Raymond.
State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan and other officials say the victim — whose identity they have not released — was found early Saturday inside a manufactured home in Raymond.
The fire was reported at about 1:30 a.m. by a neighbor who spotted it from across the street. Neighbors and firefighters were hampered in entering the home by a large amount of clutter inside blocking doors.
At midday Saturday, authorities said an autopsy was being conducted on the victim, and the state fire marshal's office was investigating the cause of the blaze.
