NH AG: Shooting Victim Had Burst Into Apartment
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire attorney general's office says a man who died in a weekend shooting in Manchester had kicked open an apartment door and was shot as he charged at the man who lives there. Police are still looking for a second intruder who was with him.
An autopsy conducted Monday found that 24-year-old Michael Larocque died of gunshot wounds to the arm and abdomen. The death was ruled a homicide.
The attorney general's office says a man living at the apartment called police early Sunday to report unknown people on his porch. Authorities say the door was then kicked open and two men rushed inside.
The resident then fired several times, killing one of the intruders. He has not been identified or charged.
