Newton Firefighters Battle Flames At Auburndale Ave Building
NEWTON (CBS) - Firefighters in Newton were battling a fire at 14 Auburndale Avenue Wednesday evening.
The building appeared to be a three-story multi-family home.
Flames could be seen shooting from a third floor window.
There were three people inside at the time that the fire started. We've learned one of them was an off-duty firefighter.
A police officer on scene told WBZ-TV's Diana Perez that all three managed to escape safely. Fire Officials said they were unable to confirm that right away.
