Newborn found in East Boston alley
Boston police have located the woman who they believe left a newborn in an alley in East Boston Monday night.
A resident on Saratoga Street told WBZ-TV that he heard a baby's cry coming from the alley. A neighbor jumped out his window into the alley with a blanket.
The men say the baby boy wasn't wearing anything and was still bloody – appearing to be newborn.
The infant was taken to Mass General Hospital to be checked out.
Early Tuesday morning. neighbors say they saw a woman being put in an ambulance from a nearby home. Police confirm that it's the woman they suspect left the baby in the alley.
No immediate word on whether criminal charges would be filed.
