New Security Screening Program In Place At Logan Airport

BOSTON (CBS) - A new security screening program is in place at Logan Airport.

The test program lets pilots and other crew members bypass metal detectors and body scanners.

The airline employees must be in uniform and show their flight IDs and driver's licenses or passports.

TSA agents check those against a real-time database of employees.

Officials say this will help travelers get through security faster, because airline employees won't have to cut in line.
