New Ratings Show More Booster Seats Doing Better Job
BOSTON (CBS) – There's some good news in the latest booster seat ratings from the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety.
"Of the 83 boosters (tested), 31 are the best bets. Another five were good bets," said Anne McCartt, the Institute's Senior Vice President for Research.

Just five years ago, the Insurance Institute could only find ten booster seats that were worthy of their "best bet" rating.
Six booster seats were classified as "not recommended". Four of them were from Evenflo.
Experts say a good booster seat gets a good seat belt fit to properly protect four-to-eight year olds.
