Groton Man Arrested For Driving 110 MPH On NH Interstate
NEW HAMPTON, N.H. (CBS/AP) — New Hampshire state police say a Massachusetts man is due in court next month after being clocked driving 110 mph on Interstate 93 in New Hampton.
Police say a 61-year-old Groton, Massachusetts, man was arrested for reckless driving after been stopped Saturday at about 10:40 a.m.
Authorities say he was driving a 2013 Audi S8.
The New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit was out in force Saturday — the official opening day of Laconia Motorcycle Week, which runs through June 19.
State police say they stopped 65 drivers for speeding offenses, including three travelling over 90 mph.
The driver is scheduled to appear in Laconia District Court on July 28.
