New Checkpoint Will Make Logan Airport Security Lines Quicker
BOSTON (CBS) - A $62 million makeover at Logan Airport's Terminal C will move you along through the security lines a bit quicker.
It's a 12-lane checkpoint for passengers, and Ed Freni, the Director of Aviation at Massport, says that will get you to your gate a little faster.

The new checkpoint, which is located directly behind the JetBlue ticket counter, replaces two different checkpoints that had served a total of 21 gates for Cape Air, JetBlue and United Airlines in two different concourses.
Freni says this new checkpoint can accommodate over 2,000 people in less than an hour.
The renovation moved many of the terminal's concessions from pre-security to post-security.
