Need Some Jeans? Throw A Party!
BOSTON (CBS) - For many women, it can be a dreaded shopping experience: the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans.
But now, instead of hitting the mall, many women are shopping in style from the comfort of their own home.
Just like Tupperware, make-up, and jewelry parties, women are now throwing jean shopping parties in their living rooms.
And what makes these parties even more fun are the prices. Designer jeans that could cost between $150- $300 in the department stores sell for up to the 50% off.
WBZ-TV's Paula Ebben reports.
The company behind these parties is Vault Denim.
"When premium jean companies sell their jeans, there's always overstock or jeans that didn't sell. So, we're buying last seaon's jeans from wholesellers," explains company founder Doug Brady.
