National Coffee Day Means Free Coffee At Local Chain Stores
BOSTON (CBS) - Need another reason to have a cup of coffee? Saturday is National Coffee Day and local coffee chain locations are offering incentives to enjoy a cup of Joe.
Friday morning, 7-Eleven locations handed out free large coffees. Calling it "CofFree Day" and also tying the day to the elections, patrons could choose either a red or blue cup to announce their political leanings. 7-Eleven will tally the results and post them on their Website.
McDonalds is also joining in National Coffee Day, offering a free small coffee at participating stores on Friday and Saturday.
Dunkin Donuts is using National Coffee Day to offer deals available on their Website. The chain is also offering a pound of coffee for $5.99 while supplies last.
