Natick Men Suspected Of Multi-Town Burglary Spree
NATICK (CBS/AP) — Police chiefs in 10 Boston suburbs say cooperation and evidence sharing has resulted in the arrests of two Natick men suspected in a series of housebreaks and attempted housebreaks in several affluent communities.
"It gets all our officers on the same page, it gives us juristidiction to go into other communities," Concord Chief Bill Chase said.
Police say 31-year-old Sean Sullivan and 48-year-old Gregg Lamont face several counts each of receiving stolen property.
The chiefs say the burglaries and attempted burglaries occurred in Wayland, Weston, Wellesley, Westwood, Sherborn, Sudbury, Lincoln and Needham between late February and early April.
The suspects were tracked based on a citizen's description of the truck they were driving. Lincoln Police finally followed the men and pulled them over in Natick.
Police say a search of their vehicle turned up a pry-bar and a high school class ring reported stolen.
Searches of their homes recovered additional pieces of jewelry reported stolen.
