Nate Solder: DeMarcus Ware, Von Miller 'Gonna Be A Huge Challenge For Us'
BOSTON (CBS) - We know about the Broncos offense.
We know about Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker and of course Peyton Manning.
But the Broncos defense has been equally as impressive.
The Broncos D is giving up the fourth fewest yards per game and is also ranked in the top five in total points.
In the offseason, Denver signed Aqib Talib and T.J. Ward to patrol the secondary, and also brought in veteran pass rusher DeMarcus Ware.
Ware and Von Miller have become the most formidable pass rushing duo in the National Football League. Miller is second in the league in sacks (9) and Ware is tied for fifth (7).
Patriots left tackle Nate Solder, the man responsible for blocking these beasts on Sunday, joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Gresh & Zolak Tuesday afternoon.
"They've got some great rushers. They added DeMarcus Ware, Von is starting to get healthy and things like that. I think they're playing pretty good on the edge. It's gonna be a huge challenge for us," said Solder. "A lot of it comes down to fundamentals. You've got to study them and know what kind of moves they want to go to and what kind of things that they can do. Both those guys are versatile. They have the speed and they have the power. It's a matter of fundamentals, playing well and being ready to go."
