Motorcyclist Dies In NH Crash Shortly After Receiving Speeding Ticket
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire state police say a 26-year-old man is dead following a motorcycle crash on an Interstate 293 off ramp in Manchester.
Police say Alan Monas lost control of the motorcycle he was riding at about 9:15 a.m. Saturday on the northbound Exit 4 off ramp and crashed.
The victim was taken to the Catholic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police say that just before the crash, Monas had been given a speeding ticket on the F.E. Everett Turnpike for traveling 86 miles an hour.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
