Fatal Motorcycle Crash Backs Up Traffic On I-495 Southbound In MIlford
MILFORD (CBS) – A fatal motorcycle crash just after 4:00 Monday afternoon shut down Interstate 495 in Milford at Route 109.

Traffic was backed up for more than nine miles, state police said.
State police said that initial reports indicate the motorcyclist riding a 2010 Harley Davidson lost control and crashed, coming to rest in the middle travel lane.
The motorcyclist was identified as a 51-year-old man from Weare, N.H., but his name was not released.
He was taken to Milford Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
State police are continuing to investigate.
All lane reopened on I-495 just after 5:30 but the backup continued.
