Mother Nature In 'Relaxation Mode'

Many neighborhoods reached 60 degrees or better yesterday afternoon.  With average highs in the middle 50s, I haven't heard many complaints. However, I have heard many people around the watercooler talking about their love for this weather after the anomalous snowfall last weekend.  Most of us have had our power restored, but for those of you still waiting, our thoughts go out to you and your families.

It's going to be another beautiful Fall day as clouds erode and sunshine takes hold by midday. Temperatures will be cooler as winds have shifted in the wake of the cold front.  We are heading for highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s along with breezy northwest winds.

This Weekend:  A blocking ridge aloft and surface area of high pressure control the weather this weekend. On the eastern flank (front side) of high pressure, high temps will be cooler for Saturday ~50F.  However, a warmer, southwest wind flow on Sunday (back side of high pressure) in conjunction with sunshine will produce high temps in the upper 50s to near 60F!

***DST Ends this Sunday at 2am.  Clocks 'FALL' back one hour.***

Have a great weekend!  Happy FRRRiday!

Melissa :)
