Nashua Mother And Daughter Charged With Selling Heroin
NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) -- A mother and daughter were arrested Friday after an investigation into the sale of heroin in Nashua.
Arieana Manzi, 22, and her mother Amy Manzi, 45, both face felony charges of selling heroin. Arieana was charged with five counts, Amy with one. In addition, Arieana was charged with felony possession of Fentanyl with intent to distribute. Amy was held on $20,000 bail, while Arieana was held on $75,000 bail.
Nashua Police said their Problem-Oriented Policing Unit arrested the mother and daughter at their Vine Street apartment Friday. They said Arieana Manzi was carrying five grams of Fentanyl, a synthetic opiate.
Their arrests were part of an investigation by the department's Narcotics Intelligence Division.
Both are due to be arraigned Monday.
