Mother Charged With Murder In Mystery Boy Case
BOSTON (CBS) -- The mother of a little boy whose body was found alongside a road in Maine is now charged with murdering him.
Julianne McCrery, 42, of Irving, Texas, was arrested in Massachusetts Wednesday night on a fugitive of justice charge. That charge stems from a warrant New Hampshire police issued charging McCrery with second-degree murder of her son, Camden Pierce Hughes.

Hughes' body was found Saturday evening along a road in South Berwick, Maine. Wednesday morning McCrery was taken into custody in Chelmsford, Mass. and questioned at State Police barracks in Concord. Sources told WBZ-TV mid-day Wednesday that McCrery admitted to killing her son.

An autopsy performed in Maine on Hughes' body determined he died of asphyxiation and the manner of death is homicide.
Sources told WBZ-TV that McCrery said she gave her son an overdose of cough syrup that resulted in his death.
