More Rain Before Late-Week Relief

Another low pressure system will be responsible for rain returning tonight. However, it's also the reason we will be enjoying sunshine and a much less humid air mass by week's end.

We will start off with patchy fog and sun before clouds begin to thicken this afternoon. Highs will reach the middle and upper 70s for the coast to as warm as the lower 80s for Metrowest/interior.  Rain will develop from west to east later this evening into the early overnight hours. There will be moderate to heavy pockets of rainfall from midnight through early Wednesday morning.  Generally-speaking, we should expect rainfall amounts to tally up to .25-.50".  Wednesday will become partly sunny by midday along with another chance of a spot shower/thunder in the afternoon. Highs will be between 80-85F.

Thursday and Friday will be sunshiny and seasonable with highs near 80F.  Also, both days will provide us a reprieve from the humidity.

Melissa :)
