More Mixed Drinks At Fenway Park?
BOSTON (CBS) - The Red Sox want to serve more mixed drinks at Fenway Park.
But the Boston Licensing Board has delayed approval of the Sox application to sell mixed drinks throughout the entire park. Hard liquor is available at Fenway, but mostly in the premium seats.

Mayor Tom Menino told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Thursday he thinks the Red Sox just need to re-word their application.
"The way the wording of the application was that it would allow them to sell liquor every place in the ballpark. That wasn't the intention of the Red Sox. That was never the intention of my administration. That's why the hearing was postponed," he said.

"My administration and the neighborhood doesn't want it to be sold throughout the ballpark. (We want) five specific locations, similar to what we have at TD North (Garden). We want to work with the Red Sox on this issue. It was miswritten and we just want to straighten out the difficulties."

The hearing is set for Wednesday, two days before the Red Sox home opener against the Yankees.
