More Local Troops Arrive Back Home From Afghanistan
BOSTON (CBS) - The U.S. is gradually withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, and that means some young men and women are coming home.
Members of the 1st Battalion, 181st infantry regiment arrived at Logan Airport from Washington soon after 10 a.m. Wednesday, done with their tour of Afghanistan.
The service members' families were escorted inside Terminal A and then were able to reconnect with their soldiers once they landed safely.
